Plaintiff Vivian Diane Redding appeals the district court's grant of summary judgment to the defendant, Beverly St. Reward, in this action brought under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 and under the constitution of the state of Michigan. Redding claims that St. Reward, acting under color of law, caused Redding to be arrested without probable cause, in violation of the Fourth and Fourteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution as well as in violation of the Michigan Constitution. Because we hold that the district court did not err in concluding that St. Reward did not act under color of law, we affirm the judgment of the district court.
